Årdal has high ambitions and aims at becoming Norway’s most environmentally friendly municipality. With support from an engaging community and new unique technology innovations developed by some of the many companies located here.

Årdal is located next door to one of Norway’s most famous national parks (Jotunheimen - the home of the frost giants), and we are officially a National Park municipality. In addition to small, exciting nature-based travel companies, we host everything from small, independent businesses to international companies investing heavily in innovation and modern, green technology.
